This homemade unit provides remote access to all the ports and devices that would otherwise be on the PC itself, meaning that the PC can be elsewhere (where you can't hear it!). As far as I know, it is unique!

Custom software is uploaded from PC to PlayStation by using printer-cable and reflashed Xplorer-cartridge.

Software contains cd-player which uses PlayStation's serial-port to send data to Arduino, which then commands 20x4 LCD-display.

The DAC used in this playstation is an Ashahi Kasei Microsystems

 (AKM) AK4309.

It is a 16 bit Stereo Delta-Sigma with very good sound

 for a CD player.

After modified as it is, can compete with some CD players

in the first four digits very easily.

 The results of these changes, a closer analog sound,

 deep bass and treble well controlled.

The result is excellent sound reproduction without digital

 hardness is the result after the modifications.

 You can use the power cords of your choice in the IEC

 connector on the back of the implanted device.

Changes of equipment:

- More than 61% output voltage, modification does Increase

 the output voltage from 1.06 V to 1.7 V rms

- Front brushed aluminum 5mm thick

- Feet in solid aluminum.

- Ultra-fast diodes in power supply .

- Matte black painted.

- High quality gold plated RCA Neutrik .

- Capacitors Panasonic in power supply .

- Audiophile and MKP film capacitors at the output of the DAC .

- Internal connections with silver wire and teflon .

- The laser was adjusted to allow all the reading on audio CD and read CD- R .

- All resistors and capacitors in the circuit were removed unnecessary steps ,

 the video section has been disabled .

- The remote control circuit was added to the circuit ,

the CD player can be remotely controlled via remote control , Which will be included .

- Excellent sound reproduction at the level of the best High-End CD players is the end result.

- CD player playstation SCPH-1002 modified. - Sony remote control with Play, Pause, Stop, Skip back, Fast Back, Skip Forward, Fast Forward.
